The 15th Intersociety Open golf Tournament was held on Saturday, 10 March, 2018 at the Phoenix Hill Golf Club. Five teams, i.e. CLP Golf Interest Group, MTRC Metro Golf Club, HKIE Golf Society, Mechanical & Electrical Golfers Society and PWD Golfing Society competed on 18 holes without handicap. The gross strokes of the best 8 players are taken from each team and compared.

The results are:

Champion: MEGS with an average score of 89.5

First runner-up: MTRC with an average score of 91.1

 

Chan Keung from MEGS was the best player with a gross stroke of 80 followed by Ian Chung from HKIE of 81. Honorable mentions are Robert Mew from CLP of 84 and Jack Lau from HKIE and Garry Lai from PWD both scoring 86.

 

Thanks to the CLP Golf Interest Group for organizing the event with great care and smoothness. Helped by the nice weather, it was an enjoyable day for all.
